Bramcote Crematorium: Service Remembers Loved Ones

FAMILIES AND FRIENDS are invited to the annual Bramcote Crematorium Remembrance Service on Sunday 13th April 2014, which has become a poignant feature in the Crematorium’s calendar to help people commemorate their loved ones lost.

Civil Celebrant Adam Humphries will lead the service which will start at 2.00pm in the Main service chapel. The chapel doors will be open from 1.15pm, with the service lasting about an hour and will include readings, prayers and hymns, with musical contributions from Soloist Sarah Simmonds.

On arrival at the chapel the congregation will be invited to light a candle in memory of their loved ones, whose names will be read out during the act of remembrance. Local Funeral Directors and other service providers will be supporting the crematorium staff on the day.

After the service, weather permitting, balloons will be released from the Crematorium grounds, following which refreshments will be available in the Main chapel waiting area.

This service has become a very popular event and attracts a large attendance. It is recommended that people arrive early to ensure a seat within the chapel, children of all ages are most welcome.

Further information, help or support are available from the Crematorium office.
