Following a sell out evening in 2013, The Rotary Club of Long Eaton Dawnbreakers are delighted to announce the return visit to the UK of historian and story teller, Rob Caskie this autumn.

Last time Rob had his audience enthralled with his stories of the Anglo-Zulu Wars but this time he will return to talk on his other passion- the intrepid explorers Robert Falcon Scott and Ernest Shackleton and their contrasting but heroic attempts to reach the South Pole.

The talk will take place on Thursday 16th October 2014 at The Chatsworth Arts Centre in Long Eaton, commencing at 7.30pm. Tickets are priced at £12.50 and all profits go to the Rotary charity, End Polio Now.

As tickets sold out well ahead of last year’s event, anyone interested in hearing Rob on his brief visit to the UK should contact Paul Burrows as soon as possible on 07539 228682 or via email at
